Inspections
- How do I schedule an inspection of my elevator?
As of November 1st, 2011 The Division of Building Safety -
Industrial Safety Section - Elevator Program will no longer accept
elevator requests by phone or in person. This is effective for
all regions. All inspection requests will need to be emailed
to safety@dbs.idaho.gov. Please
include the following in your inspection request:
Once the email has been
received and the elevator confirmed, an inspector or office staff will
contact you within 2 working days to schedule the inspection.
If it is an inspection request for an acceptance please include the
pre-inspection checklist with the email request.
