Attention Contractors and Property Owners:

The city of Twin Falls has notified the Division of Building Safety, Electrical Bureau that it is their desire to perform their own electrical inspections. Therefore effective January 1, 2007 all new electrical installations within the city limits of Twin Falls will require a Twin Falls electrical permit and subsequent inspection by the city of Twin Falls. Please Note: All electrical work that the state has inspected prior to January 1, 2007 will continue to be inspected by the state until a final inspection has been completed. Therefore effective September 1, 2006 all new electrical installations within the city limits of Rexburg will require a Rexburg electrical permit and subsequent inspection by the city of Rexburg.
